To whom it my concern,

I have really the started looking into chromebook and apps for education hoping it had accessibility with it. My son has dyslexia and adhd and I'm looking to find whatever will work and does have to feel like extra work. I'd

like to get educated on the chromebook and apps for education. It's only me not a school or a district I just want to do this in addition to school. We love our androids and all with education apps he still can have it for fun,

He's 12 and is behind with reading and math due to disabilities. I'd love to give input to help others and my son. He is also in a special ed. It would be great to help out. I just can't find chromebooks anywhere around

requested info a while ago with no answer. Maybe you could just point me in the right direction..

Thank you for your time,

Shawn Moore

Shawn,

Unfortunately the Apps for Education and Chromebooks for Education
programs are for schools, not for individuals. You can buy a
Chromebook as an individual and it's the exact same hardware and
software, but without the educational service plans and administration
interface.

Chromebooks include accessibility features for users who are blind or
low-vision. They do not have any particular features for dyslexia at
this time. You might want to speak to an accessibility expert who is
familiar with dyslexia solutions to evaluate a wide range of hardware,
software, accessories, and resources. In the U.S., many state
rehabilitation departments may be a good place to start.

Best of luck,
- Dominic
