Hi,

We noticed that the delay of the daily CrUX API appears to have increased. Historically, the data was two days behind, but as of yesterday and today, it seems to be a three-day delay.

I understand that there is no formal SLA and that the documentation states the API can be "approximately  two days behind today's date". Is this increased delay expected or temporary? This would help us determine whether we should adapt our ingestion process.

Regards, Armand

Hi,

I'd say the current delay is pretty normal, the processing takes time, and it's also somewhat variable because this type of processing is optimized for throughput, not latency.
Occasionally, the processing falls behind, and it can skip a daily update to catch up. This isn't the case right now though, we're currently serving 2026-01-19 and things are chugging along.

Hope this is useful and good wishes,
Johannes.

Yes, this should be the case soon. I don't see any particular problem on our end here, it's just taking its time but looks healthy thus far.

I looked at a graph where we can see the delay over time, last 30 days it was serving no more than 2 days of delay - but in the last two days the delay has gone up a bit. So your observation is correct.

Johannes.

Thank you for providing that insight.

Just to confirm, with the two-day delay, it should be serving 2026-01-20?
