Hello,

We've got a problem with CLS in our site and i want to do a deep analysis. We've got 3 different applications under our domain so firstly I need to understand if the problem is from one of those applications. So the filter origin is not enough for me.

With the api i can filter by a concrete url which is nice: --data '{"url": "https://www.emagister.com/cursos-inem-para-desempleados-gratuitos-online-tps-10270707.htm", great.  Then i want to know the evolution of this url by month but I think that I can't do this with the api. So i moved to BigQuery, now i can filter by month but i don't know how can I filter by URL in BigQuery, is it possible. I can't find it in the docs.

summarizing, is it possible in BigQuery to filter by url with the chrome-ux-report?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi Joaquin,

BigQuery contains monthly data only by origin. If you wish to collect more information in real-time, you may wish to use web-vitals.js

You would of course need to build your own storage and infrastructure for that data if you do not have a RUM provider that integrates the information for you already. You will also need to aggregate the data yourself to extract the 75th percentile, along with other relevant metrics to slice the data. At least, we have been taking this approach by creating a high-throughput microservice for our client base who do not have the dev resources available for Q1/Q2 2021.

Best regards,

Ryan

Hi Joaquin,

Your use case sounds perfect for Search Console's Core Web Vitals report. It will group similar pages together and report their aggregate CWV performance. If you discover that there are pages with poor performance, you can drill down to get a list of sample URLs in that page group. It monitors CWV compliance over time too.

If you have any questions about using the report, you can direct them to the webmaster forums.
