Dear Google Developer Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am reaching out to seek your guidance regarding a performance issue I have encountered on my website’s mobile version as reported by Google PageSpeed Insights.

As per the attached screenshot, my current mobile performance score stands at 56, while the scores for Accessibility (92), Best Practices (100), and SEO (92) are quite satisfactory. However, the performance metrics are concerning:

  • First Contentful Paint: 5.2 s

  • Largest Contentful Paint: 11.2 s

  • Speed Index: 10.5 s

  • Total Blocking Time: 40 ms

  • Cumulative Layout Shift: 0

I understand that a low-performance score can affect both user experience and search visibility. Despite several optimization efforts on our end, we are struggling to reduce the LCP and Speed Index values effectively.

Could you please review the attached report and guide us on the best practices or further steps we should take to improve these metrics, especially for mobile users?

Your support in resolving this issue would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Warm regards,
Haris

This mailing list is for CrUX issues and looks like from that screenshot you unfortunately do not have enough data to show CrUX results so sounds like this is not a CrUX question, but more a Lighthouse/general web performance question?

There's a lot of advice at https://web.dev/articles/optimize-lcp on how to optimise LCP and the Lighthouse audits beneath the scores also give potential ways of improving performance.

If you have more specific questions of why those are not working for you, then do let us know either by raising a Lighthouse issue, or providing Core Web Vitals feedback in that discussion group, or for issues with the web.dev articles in it's bug tracker. And please provide the URL you are talking about if you follow any of those paths.

Thanks,
Barry

Looks like it's not in the CrUX dataset, probably due to the popularity requirement.

So for optimizing core web vitals etc. perhaps best to follow the links that Barry posted in his response. Good wishes!
