G'Day,

The usability of the Bookmark Manager [Ctrl-Shit-O] could be improved by supporting drag-n-drop of URLs from the URL address bar to a folder in Bookmark Manager.

I use a dual screen setup and would greatly appreciate if it was possible to drag-n-drop from the URL address bar in one screen to a folder in the bookmark manager on the other screen.

While doing a cut-n-paste from the URL address bar to the bookmark manager folder does work, the operation results in the full URL as the bookmark name instead of the page title,
which in turn requires editing the bookmark name to give it a more meaningful name.

Anyhow, it would be nice to see this feature implemented

Dang! ... I just tested the requested drag-n-drop to bookmarks feature in Firefox and it works flawlessly ... lol

Looking forward to when this feature is implemented in Chrome.

$ google-chrome --version
Google Chrome 62.0.3202.94

Thanks in advance

Hi Robert,

I think you've posted to the wrong group. This one is for a tool called the Chrome User Experience Report. But I can understand why you'd think it's a good place to report user experience issues in Chrome :p

G'Day Rick ;-)

Thanks the reply, lol ;-)

Funny enough, a search for exactly the phrase "report user experience issues in Chrome" yields this group as the first option!

Digging through the next couple of pages doesn't seem to reveal what would be the appropriate group to post regarding my feature request.

That said, searching for "Chrome feature request" does lead to the Google Chrome Help Forum, which at a first glance I'm going to assume may be the correct place to post my "feature request"

If you happen to know what the correct "chrome feature request" group may be I would greatly appreciate being pointed there;-)

Cheers

Robert
