It's got that message in the doc, as was pointed out to me when I asked the same question. You need to wait a day as that execution config runs once a day.
I have no idea what it is or why it runs once a day but mine works now and didn't yesterday.
Do I just need to wait for this mysterious execution config to run at some point for canary releases?
