It appears that the extension is required to use/test webMCP. I had expected in-chrome Gemini to have access to the Web MPC JS objects. Is that the plan for the future? If so which build of Chrome is scheduled to have that capability?

Hello All,

This is a great question and point of reference to begin the movement or framework of a browser with unlimited potential or endless features, especially in this Age of Aquarius.
So what have we?
Please notify us of any further development, or developers datasets needed.

Thank you for your time and the opportunity to work with you on this project.

Sincerely,

- Kenyon "the Aquarian Oracle" Allen

Great question and I had the same one. Any further information on when we can expect this in Gemini would help us to plan this better at our side.

As you guessed, the extension is meant for developers to try out their WebMCP tools for now.
In the future, Gemini-in-Chrome and other browser agents may eventually adopt WebMCP; no ETA though.
