Hi Calvin,

I've left this open over the weekend, but it seems like no one else experienced something like this. If it's still a problem for you, please file a bug at https://new.crbug.com and try to provide reproduction steps.

Thank you!

Cheers,
Tom

I have the same. Started last week. I tried Canary, same. It used to work before for me.

In this case, please either of you file a bug and send the link here, and the other one please pile onto it with their additional information. Thank you very much!

Ok - thanks, I did:

BTW @calvin - In

chrome://on-device-internals/

model-status tab, there is a crash count. I think if the number of crashes equals or exceeds the maximum, future invocations will throw the "Model crashed too many times" error.

(The bug I filed is for the actual crash, not for the error thrown due to maximum being exceeded)

Thank you! Just triaged so it shows up under Blink>AI>Writing Assistance.

This issue seems to be fixed in 139.0.7258.155 (Official Build). If anyone getting the same error, you can try updating Chrome (stable).
