Extension doesn't accept Gemini API key

Even with the latest 1.7 build of the Chrome extension from here https://github.com/beaufortfrancois/model-context-tool-inspector?tab=readme-ov-file#option-2-install-from-source

Nothing happens when I click " Set Gemini API key. It was working yesterday

Hey Steve,

Did you run `npm install`?
If you right-click in the extension sidebar panel, and click "Inspect", do you see an error in the DevTools console that may help?
Which page are you testing?

I had the same issue - I just cloned https://github.com/beaufortfrancois/model-context-tool-inspector and somehow my local version worked when I did dev mode on chrome extensions
