Hi blink-infra team,

I am currently working on a Python 3 compatible version of pywebsocket

We would like to run pywebsocket on python3 from run_web_tests and run_blink_websocketserver. To do so, we would like to add an option to run_web_tests.py and server/pywebsocket.py that could be used to run pywebsocket on Python 3 (and possibly other servers when they support Python 3). Please refer to this WIP CL for an example of what I'd like to do.

Is it OK if we modify these files to support this option?

Also, is it possible to run python 3 on at least one of the linux bots so that we can test websocket tests in python 3?

Thanks,

Keita

From my very limited understanding, there's this, which is pure python. Doing some initial library dependency tracing, I can't find if the WIP CL relies on anything imported by this wpt_import.py.vpython file. Either way, the wheels are all pure python. Beyond that, I plan to be a bystander so I can learn more.
