How to disable the feature "Scroll To Text Fragment"

Good evening,

I find the "Scroll To Text Fragment" feature just terrible.

I wish to copy just the link and not a load of text.  I do not want Google search results to return a highlighted segment of an article.

In my view, this feature has made the the chrome browser much worse together with a much worse internet experience.

Could you advise on how this feature can be disabled.

Hi Thomas, 

Thanks, that is a great point and I'll try that out on my laptop, but Android Chrome doesn't support extensions.
