Summary

We plan on landing a few changes to the Attribution Reporting API focused on:

• Increasing limits on registration data size to allow more flexibility

• Removing non-privacy-bearing browser-imposed delay to allow reports to be received faster

Spec changes

1. Remove aggregation keys size limit on trigger registration
2. Remove 1-hour delay between end of report window and transmission

Risks
Interoperability and Compatibility

Change (1) and (2) are both fully backwards compatible. (1) will allow registration of more data than before. (2) will allow reports to arrive more quickly than before.

              

Will this feature be supported on all six Blink platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome OS, Android, and Android WebView)?

All except Android WebView

Is this feature fully tested by web-platform-tests?
