Hi Blinkers,

A few updates about BlinkOn 2, our contributor's conference to be held on May 13th & 14th at the Zurich Google office.
  • The event is at capacity (~100).  If you registered before the event filled up, you will receive a confirmation email from me shortly.  Please reply to that email to cancel if you cannot make it so we can let in others from the wait list.
  • If you didn't register but would like to attend, please fill out the wait list form.  We'll let you know if space frees up.
  • Talks in the main room will be recorded and shared online. Keep in mind that BlinkOn 3 will be held in the fall in the Bay Area, California as well.
  • I seeded the agenda based on the topics brainstorm spreadsheet.  Feel free to edit the former.
See you next month!

Max

Hi all,

Yes, if you do not intent to join please say so ASAP as we have a few from Intel who would like to join (me included) but as we didn't know exactly how many we would send and who before now, we followed the form guidelines and noone signed up.

Thanks in advance,
Kenneth

hey Blinkers,

Fortunately we've had a few cancellations and found a way to increase event capacity.  Everyone who signed up for the wait list in last 20 hours will be able to attend and should get a confirmation email from me shortly.

If you still haven't registered but want to attend, please sign up using the same wait list form.

Also, another thing I'd like to call out: we've had a few Googler gatherings with folks from both Blink and Chromium platform more generally (compositor, GPU, Skia, V8, networking, etc).  Those conversations were quite valuable.

Which is to say that even if you're only peripherally touching Blink code, you're still welcome at this conference.  At this point, "BlinkOn" may be a limiting misnomer for the types of discussions that we'd like to happen.  My hope is that the agenda evolves to reflect this wider scope.
