Just wondering when the user agent string for Chrom(e|ium) will be changed to indicate the use of Blink instead of WebKit? Maybe something along the lines of ... Blink/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/33.0.1750.146 Safari/537.36

Also, is the Safari chunk really needed these days?

We don't have any plans to change the User-Agent header (except to increment the Chrome version).  If you have data that shows we can remove or make various portions of the header more accurate, there are many people on the team who would like to make such a change.  Unfortunately, that data tends to be hard to gather and so we end up with a User-Agent header that's full of inaccurate statements.

The team stated when the fork was made that it will not introduce the Blink token (and that the WebKit version will not change anymore).
Safari may be required for compatibility (with mobile devices, for example).
