Hello,

Posting this here as I have seen some confusion in a few different places.

The explainer for the Attribution Reporting API (formerly Conversion Measurement API), was updated to reflect a new naming scheme.

The explainer, and entire WICG/conversion-measurement-api repo, is not reflective of the existing API implementation in Chrome.

Chrome 89-91 still uses the old names in the API. For guidance on experimenting with Chrome's implemented API, please see the web.dev article on experimenting via Origin Trial: https://web.dev/conversion-measurement/

When Chrome adopts the new naming, the web.dev article will be updated to reflect the new guidance. We will also try to keep the chromestatus entry reflective of what is available within Chrome via Origin Trial.
