This is primarily a feature request so apologies if this should be posted somewhere else.

Essentially, when using `Create shortcut` on Chrome to make a desktop shortcut, it creates a Chrome App and then a shortcut that launches that App in it's own window. The feature request is to allow the taskbar icon to change based on the favicon changing. For example, on Facebook Messenger, when a new message comes in, it will change the favicon to indicate a new message has arrived. However, when we appify Facebook Messenger, the icon in the taskbar does not change.

As an alternate implementation, creating a shortcut shouldn't create a distinct app, and instead the Chrome window should have a "minified one tab" mode, that hosts a single url in that simplified window, and would have an icon that reflects the favicon at all times, but I'm not sure how feasible that implementation would be.
