chrome crashes when "chrome.desktopCapture.chooseDesktopMedia()" is invoked.

I am trying to capture screen using my chrome extension  with the "chrome.desktopCapture.chooseDesktopMedia()" api and chrome process gets stuck with a state of "not responding" when this function is invoked.

 I have tried using other extensions that are using this function and the result is the same. also tried it on other computers and with chrome canary and got the same result. there a demo at https://www.webrtc-experiment.com/getScreenId/ that you can use the try to reduplicate the issue.

I am using Windows 10 with chrome version 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit).
