Chromium webview as AAR instead of APK

Is there a way to build Chromium webview for Android as AAR instead of APK to be directly embedded in an app?

We don't officially support this, sorry. We generally don't advise compiling WebView code statically into your app because it will bloat your APK size and will require frequent updates to make sure you have the latest security patches.
