Grabbing bitmap from Webview on android?

Hello guys,

 

Not sure if this is right place to ask, but I am in need for a way to grab currently rendered image from webview in general case (e.g. with WebGL canvas on page).

Is it possible with standard android webview, or do I have to build custom chrome content shell for that?

You can adapt code which should work for webview, though I'm not aware of anyone actually trying it. It does require API level 29 though:

Do report back if it ends up working or not.
