Android System WebView 153.0.8010.11 regression: embedded maps crash apps on Galaxy Note10+ / Android 11

Hello Android WebView team,

I am reporting what appears to be a regression in Android System WebView beta version 153.0.8010.11.

Device / environment:

• Samsung Galaxy Note10+ (SM-N975U)
• Android 11, One UI 3.1
• Android System WebView: 153.0.8010.11
• Google Play services: 26.32.34 (150400-968093310)

Observed behavior:

• Hilton, Starbucks, and McDonald’s all crash when opening or loading their in-app map views.
• The normal Google Maps app itself works correctly.
• These apps and their maps had been working normally previously.

Troubleshooting/result:

• Clearing Google Play services cache and restarting did not help.
• Rolling back Android System WebView immediately fixed the problem in the affected apps.

Because three unrelated applications failed specifically when displaying embedded maps, and all began working again after the WebView rollback, this appears to be a WebView 153.0.8010.11 compatibility/regression issue on this Android 11 Samsung device.

I hope this is useful for beta testing and regression tracking. I can provide additional device/build information if needed.
