Gyroscope access in JS - potential security issue?

I came across this paper from 2014:

Apparently the gyroscope in a mobile phone is sufficiently sensitive to reconstruct speech nearby. Does Chromium for Android take any precautions to prevent this? (For example, introducing some noise before presenting the data to JS code... I don't know how far you'd have to go before it's no longer possible to use this technique.)
