As I tested EC firmware_FAFTSetup case,

$ /usr/bin/test_that --board=$BOARD 192.168.1.4 firmware_FAFTSetup

It passes occasionally, but fails mostly, as following ERROR messages are showed up,
////////

03/21 09:48:20.429 INFO |firmware_FAFTSetup:0083| Check test image is on USB stick and run recovery boot

03/21 09:49:06.532 INFO |     firmware_test:0373| usb dev is /dev/sdb

03/21 09:49:06.555 INFO |             servo:0671| Will execute on servo host: mount -o ro /dev/sdb3 /tmp/usbcheck.7qzl

03/21 09:49:06.627 ERROR|             utils:0282| [stderr] mount: /dev/sdb3 is already mounted or /tmp/usbcheck.7qzl busy

03/21 09:49:06.629 ERROR|        servo_host:0313| Command <sudo -n sh -c "mount -o ro /dev/sdb3 /tmp/usbcheck.7qzl"> failed, rc=32, Command returned non-zero exit status

///////

USB stick is plugged into USB port on Servo V2 board, it has test OS image in it and was used to install OS onto DUT successfully via recovery mode.

Also attached more debug information. The test server is Ubuntu v14.04 LTS, is there any attribute features I need to set for “/chroot/tmp/” directory?

I guess your Ubuntu may auto-mount the USB disk if it is plugged.
You need to disable the auto-mount.

Hi Tom,

Yes, you are right, I disabled automount / automount-open features from “dconf Editor”, “mount: /dev/sdb3 is already mounted or /tmp/usbcheck.7qzl busy” is never showed again, this help us pass another 2 EC test cases too - firmware_RecoveryButton.ec_wp & firmware_RecoveryButton.ec_wp.

Thanks your expertise support, and believe we need your closely further support in next few weeks!

Regards,

Martin
