Deep Memory profiler in Chromium V30

Does Deep Memory Profiling work in Android Chromium V30 in ARM flavor ?
I tried following the instructions for deep memory profiling , tcmalloc is getting compiled in my version.
Also looking at this post:

Post seems to suggest tcmalloc does not work well for ARM. Deep Memory profiling instructions is based out of TCMALLOC.
Is there any suggestions to enable this ?
