Preload inconsistencies

Hi,

I've been looking at using preload for a site logo and two fonts but the behaviour seems to be a little erratic depending on the order.

If I preload the [image, font, font] they are the first requests made and sent and in that order. If I preload [font, font, image] then the image preload is spotted but queued until much later - and so loaded too late.

Is there a reason why this happens?

For completeness, [font, image, font] loads the image eagerly too :-)
