Speech Recog offline? Concerns?

I have been using the webkit speech recognition for quite some time and I am sending more and more words to it. My concern is when does google actually say enough is enough? What all really goes to google? Just the words? I have invested quite a bit of time in this app and do not want to see it all of a suddenly blocked. I am assuming there is no offline version of this. I have looked for alternatives but have found little. Anyone else have concerns?
