Cannot find termcap entry for 'xterm-256color'

While connected though ssh, then trying to run screen, following error comes:

Cannot find termcap entry for 'xterm-256color'

Sounds like your termcap database is out of date.  If you can't updated it for some reason, add "export TERM=xterm" to your shell startup script, or set hterm's environment preference to {TERM: "xterm"}.

Thanks a lot, adding "export TERM=xterm" to the shell startup script did the trick!
