Howto close a tab

Hello,

I would like make a kiosk where you can print some PDF documents. So I work with the kiosk mode of chrome.

When I click on a link, chrome open a new tab with the PDF extension and is waiting a action from the user.

So I a "window.print()" to print directly when the extension is opened. But I'm not able to close the extension.

I try some chrome.runtime.sendMessage, chrome.tabs.remove, but I nothing work.

How to find the background script ?

How to debug it ?

Do you have a solution ?
