Extension to monitor what is being written in a text box of type <input class = "text" type = "text"

Preciso de uma extensão que monitore o que o Usuário está digitando em uma caixa de texto do navegador de internet e exiba uma pop-up com uma mensagem caso seja digitado um número específico. Por exemplo, quando alguém digitar o número 123456789 em uma caixa de texto do tipo <input class = "text" type = "text" será exibida uma mensagem: "este número está sendo procurado". Alguém pode me ajudar?

If you controlled the page and could execute scripts and add HTML to it, would you know how to accomplish that?

If not, this group is not the right place for this discussion, you need a general web development forum and the like, like stackoverflow.com.

Otherwise, use a content script and do whatever you want using normal JavaScript and DOM APIs.
