Chromium and Google sign-in

Why can't I sign in to google on any Chromium build? I just recently built an apk for my android devices (Moto G3 and Shield Tablet K1) and when I try to sign in, it goes to the add an account page. Am I missing something?

Have you added the API keys (either at build time, or using ADB to set environmental variables, if this is possible)?

So it turns out Chromium on Android M doesn't ask for any permissions, so by manually granting each permission I can now sign in to google :D. Just gotta fix the sync issues now
