Hi ,

Can any one help me where can i find the version roadmap  (or) release dates for upcoming chrome versions.

Also when i clock on beta channel (or) Dev (or) stable channel it does not show which version i am installing. There should be a best way .

Thanks

Google does not provide exact dates for future releases.  But in general, Google releases major version Chrome updates approximately every 6 weeks.

I'm interested in this topic also.  yes the developer calendar states what's current but it does indicate whats coming  and when. For example, I'd like to know  when the next  beta and stable channel release is for each OS, what version it is, and what changes are in that release so I can proactively let my customer know what's coming

thx,

Hi Jamie,

We have the same need of you.  Did you have any information about that ?  (Sorry for my english, french is my first language).

In fact, we would like to have a section in the chromium Web Site or else, that publish what is coming up in the future versions of Chrome that could have a major impact in our web sites.  For example, it would have been interesting to have access to a centralized Web site from which you could have known in advance, the announcement of disabling NPAPI plugins in version 42 of Chrome and its definitive withdrawal from version 45.

Thank you.

Guessing the release date is pretty simple (a new version gets released roughly every six weeks).
chromestatus.com has data about upcoming additions, changes, deprecation and removals.
Also, the Chromium blog publishes posts whenever a major deprecation or removal is happening (there have been quite a few regarding NPAPI, for example), usually with some rough timeline.
