Installed Ubuntu and it comes with Chromium but it will not sync with Chrome

I just installed Ubuntu 12.04 and it comes with Chromium. But when I try to sign in on it to get my bookmarks it will not sync with all my other Chrome installs. And yes, 32-bit Chrome does sync just fine. It is just Chromium on Linux that will not.

I suppose I can export my Chrome bookmarks manually and import them. But I change them often as I find new sites to add.

Is there a way to make it work automatically like Chrome?
