why i cant watch videos in 720p on chrominium

This is not the right group for such questions. Either talk to the supplier of your Chromium, or use chromium-discuss.

You should be able to watch 720p videos using Chromium, but not using non-free codecs like H.264. WebM (VP8, VP9) are supported out of the box when Chromium is used and they should support 720p and even higher resolutions.
