Hi guys, I'm facing A HUGE problem with a web application I'm developing and it is critical for me. The problem is the following. Say I have the following URL :
When I type it initially and hit enter, all is good. As I understand it however, once chrome sees a url it recognizes and you start typing the url, say "
http://localhost:8090/test/so", and the browser fills up the autocomplete it pre-loads the response and effectively makes the request, even though the user ends up opening something completely different. The problem here is that I must find a way to make that distinction after the user hits enter. Basically I need to know if the user really requested to view the said page. I cannot accomplish the effect with javascript, since the target does not have and must not have an output. Headers don't give me the information I need and besides, the request has been made before the client has in fact opened it.
