New issue 131863 by
rzakar...@google.com: Chrome crashes when using Synergy
and copying from one computer to Chrome on Ubuntu
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=131863
Chrome Version : 20.0.1132.27
OS Version: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS the Lucid Lynx
I'm using Synergy to work with my mac laptop and ubuntu. Ubuntu is the
host. What I'm doing is coping urls from my mac and then pasting them into
address bar or any text area in gmail and chrome crashes. This is an
intermittent issue and only happens on Linux Chrome. I have not seen it on
Win7 or Mac. It seems that the issue happens because the clipboard doesn't
yet have the line that was copied and when I try to paste it into Chrome it
just hangs and there is no way to come out of it other than to force kill
it. So what I end up doing is pasting into gedit first and then into Chrome
and that works, gedit never crashes.
Let me know if there is anything else I could provide.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
