What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go to URL
2. Click install angry birds
3. Say yes to download

What is the expected result?
Angry Birds will be installed as an extension.

What happens instead?
I get the error message "Package is invalid: CRX_MAGIC_NUMBER_INVALID"

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

See screenshot attached. Searching for other people with this issue has not
come up with any useful results. I ahve tried installing GMAIL offline,
which installed without any problems.

I get the same problem:
Click Angry Bird in Chrome web store
it takes me
to:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/aknpkdffaafgjchaibgeefbgmgeghloj?hl=en-GB
Click "Add to chrome"
Click "install" when prompted "install angry birds?
error window appears:"Extension Installation Failure"
Package is invalid: 'CRX_MAGIC_NUMBER_INVALID'

Google chrome 14.0.835.186
windows XP SP3

This very strange as I have also successfully installed this on another PC
running same version of windows/chrome, and also on a laptop running Vista

I wonder what is common between us (seeing as I am running W7). Do you use
AVG Free 2012?
