Can not find my extension by chrome store search

Hi, 

We had establish our extension app on the chrome web store, and every thing seems doing good.

But, there are sill something wrong....I can not find the app by the search.

I can find my extension app by direct link.

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/idighallhledkolmcaiapjnfngfipcfh

But, when I search it by the app name, the search result is empty.

It has been established several days, and the search in the chrome web store still can't find it.

Did I miss anything?

We've come up to a strange issue. After our extension was approved it took about 5 days but it appeared in the search results of the Chrome Web Store.

Not, suddenly, after publishing the updated version some days ago it's not available in the search results again.

I'm having this problem as well. Apparently something happened July 1st because I went from ~100 pageviews a day to 0.

Happy Monday morning!

I am the developer of Streamus, an extension on the web store. It has an ID of "jbnkffmindojffecdhbbmekbmkkfpmjd" and has been on the store for one year.

I updated Streamus on Saturday around noon. After publishing my changes, I immediately noticed a bug in the released version. As such, I issued two, quick, successive updates. During one of these updates I clicked 'Cancel Publish and Edit.'

After updating Streamus with these updates -- it is no longer able to be found in the web store, but it is still accessible via URL.

Additionally, I started having reports come in, triggered at the same time it seems, of users not being able to install the extension. This occurs both through my own website as well as directly through the web store. Users who already had the extension installed are unable to update and, if they removed it, are unable to re-install.

I am able to install perfectly fine on multiple machines. So I'm left a bit confused there.

Please help! Greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Your extension hasn't been updated to use manifest version 2. We sent emails to all developers with extensions in the store that were not using manifest V2 warning that they would be removed from search and the store if they were not updated by July.

Update your extension to use the new manifest version and you should be fine.

I published an app few days back and it was appearing correctly in webstore.

I unpublished it for some reason. Then I published it back and its not appearing in webstore search result.

Unpublishing the extension and publishing it again did not solve my issue .

Published on the 29th with all the promo image sizes using manifest 2. It's not installed in my copy of Chrome (which prevents it from showing in some places) and I also can't find it in other browsers (such as Safari).

Joe pointed out (by private email) that this works for him. I've since been able to see it for myself as well, on someone elses computer, but it doesn't work for me in three different browsers on two different networks (mobile and office).

I still can't find this on two of my three computers. Any thoughts Joe? 

Is it a slow rollout, where I might not see it for a while (like several days or weeks)? I can see it on my wife's computer but not on my Mac and not on my Ubuntu machine. Here are a couple screenshots from each of them.

Throughout the various updates to the browser & webstore, it seems google has been flip flopping between wether or not you could see the apps you already have installed. Most likely what you are experiencing is the fact that your browser is logged in as you, and so you can not see the apps you already have installed.

This is why on someone elses computer you will see the app.

A simple solution is to completely log your browser out via the settings controls.

NOT VIA GMAIL or any other web site, but vie the Chrome Settings.

chrome://settings/
disconnect your account.
