I've received a trademark complaint from Instragram for the extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/instagram-web/ahnkihgegokdpeepplkdlpecpongejkl
After taking the necessary actions such as removing "Instragram" from its name and removing the Instragram's icon from it, the extension still won't be accepted. It goes to Under Review and later to Taken Down again.
The extension has around 200k users and right now they are complaining because an update is needed to recover from a bug.

Below the last communication with the office who filled the complaint to me. The key point which was the use of "Instagram" on the name has been addressed using their recommendation of using "for Instagram".

I hope any admin from Google could help me out here.

Dear NextThing Apps,

We are sending this notice because your Instagram Web Chrome application violates Instagram’s Brand Guidelines and trademark rights.

Instagram’s trademarks, including Instagram, the Instagram logo, the Instagram glyph and app logos, InstaMeet, InstaStop, Insta, gram, IG, and others, are owned by Instagram and may only be used as provided in these guidelines or with Instagram’s permission.

As we hope you can appreciate, protection of its well-known trademarks is very important to Instagram. For example, using a name that looks or sounds like “Instagram” and logos/icons that look like our logos/icon may be confusing to people, or may make it harder for them to distinguish between different applications. Similarly, use of “INSTA” and “GRAM” for an application that works with Instagram is harmful to the Instagram brand. It is important that you develop your own distinctive branding for your application, and use Instagram’s trademarks only as specifically authorized under our policies.

Please review the guidelines at https://en.instagram-brand.com/

Some key points:

- Avoid trademarks, names, domain names, logos or other content that could be confused with Instagram.

- You may not use “Insta” or “Gram” in the name of a product that works with Instagram.

- Don’t modify, abbreviate or translate the word Instagram, or use any of our logos to replace it. Don’t combine “Insta” or “gram” with your own brand.

- If you offer an app that uses the Instagram APIs or is otherwise compatible with or related to Instagram, you may describe how your application relates to Instagram. For example, you may say that your app is "for Instagram" or that the name of your campaign is "on Instagram".

We appreciate your interest in developing applications that help people share with Instagram. While we encourage developers to build great apps that work with Instagram, we cannot allow other applications to look like they might be official Instagram applications, or endorsed or sponsored by us.

We hope this information is helpful. Should you have any other questions or concerns, please let us know.

Thanks,
