detect foreground app in ChromeOS

Hi Sir/Madam,

As I try to develop a chrome app/extension to detect the users' activity on Chrome OS, the first problem is I need to know which is the foreground application. I found currently there's no such API for Chrome app to achieve this, just like the GetForegroundWindow in Win32. May I know is there any plan to add the similar API?
