Smart History Classifier -- CRXfile Unable to install extensions by running .crx file downloaded in Chrome

Smart history classifier is very intelligent in classifiying history information to respective folders using machine learning techniques. I am geting below error when adding to the chrome. :-

What is the expected result?
Chrome installs the extension

What happens instead?
System dialog says "Windows can't open this file"

Please help!

I installed it successfully (on a new profile, though, as I do not trust it yet).

Are you behind a corporate proxy/firewall or something? Perhaps this blocks it, or Group Policy and similar.

Thanks for testing it. I will check with proxy settings. I am on corporate firewall and may be that is causing an issue. Thanks for your reply! Appreciate it..
