Compatibility Risk
Gecko: This is supported in Firefox (under the assumption that the pref to enable serviceworkers is flipped).
WebKit: Not Supported.

LGTM2. I don't know if there's some other bits of API or behavior that logically should go together with this change, but trust that will be noticed in code review if nothing else.
