OWP Storage Team Snippets (5/26)

The "OWP Storage Team" is responsible for Web-facing storage APIs (DOM Storage, Indexed DB, AppCache, ...), storage infrastructure (leveldb, blobs, permissions, metrics, ...) and helps out on related projects (Service Workers/Cache, ...).

Current projects are Storage Durability, Indexed DB Performance/Usability, Reliability and Security.

MichaelN:

* Working on long-standing AppCache bug, should have initial CL ready today/tomorrow

* Still owe dmurph code review on blob storage

CMumford:

* Patches for Indexed DB IDBIndex.getAllKeys() CLs

* Total of 3 new "getAll" APIs so far; experimental in Firefox

* Will do IDBObjectStore.getAllKeys() next

* Then tackling "Key Set" 

DGrogan:

* Implementation of storage durability - https://storage.spec.whatwg.org/

* Talked w/ security team (for user control of revoking) 

* Talked w/ mounir (permissions service; storage and user control)

* Provided feedback on CMumford's dashboard CLs

DMurph:

* Starting perf tests for blob storage (using telemetry and tracing)

* Working on blob storage CL

* Revamped Indexed DB observers proposal based on Moz feedback; needs review by jsbell

SlightlyOff:

* Thread on security properties of Cache Storage API

* CSP proposals - including separable storage

JSBell:

* Refactoring of Indexed DB spec - algorithmic, pluggable, etc - https://w3c.github.io/IndexedDB/

* Found undocumented `IDBTransaction.objectStoreNames` attribute in FF; added to spec, CL for Blink

* Added "v2" features - getAll() etc.

JoelO [Blink Infra]

* Reducing cycle time for layout tests - fixing virtual tests (content shell restarts are bad)

* Standing up rebaseline bot

* Done some w3c test imports
