Does chrome.usb or chrome.hid api still work in the lastest version of chrome os? I used to list my usb device in browser, but I cannot do it now.

Does chrome.usb or chrome.hid api  still work in the latest version of chrome OS just like in other os such as linux , windows？Does chromebook user has enough access limitations to use these api to list his usb or hid device in the browser? Thank you very much!
