Is there any comparison between QUIC and UDT(UDP-based Data Transfer) ?

I'm just a newbie, and looking for a new protocol for streaming/playing video.

QUIC and UDT is on my list to review, and I wonder if any survey paper or blog is available ?

Any help will be appreciated.

Not yet: we're still in the early stages of experimenting with QUIC but we'll be sure to post here once we have done enough analysis of the latency impact to make it worth a write-up!  I'd also add that it's still a fast-moving protocol and is nowhere near stable.  While we encourage folks to play around with it, the regular non-backwards-compatible protocol revisions will make it less desirable for some use cases.

We have blogged about the performance impact we've seen from QUIC and have presented these metrics at the IETF. I'm unaware of anyone who has compared it to UDT, however.
