Hi,

We are a software team using Autodesk Forge viewer which is a web based 3d large model viewer.

Due to memory limitations in chrome (even with extended 4GB) some large models cannot be opened.

We are wondering if there’s any way to overcome this even by using chromium and rebuilding it to use as a control in a .net windows application?

Any help or suggestions will be highly appreciated,

Thanks,

Afshin Jafari

The Renderer sandbox will cap the amount of virtual memory for each renderer to ~4GB on linux and Windows.
See LinuxSandbox::LimitAddressSpace (not sure where the relevant code for Windows is)

Hi Primiano,
Do you know if there's an option to disable this?
we're again looking into this and although CefSharp is supposed to disable the sandbox we still can't use more that 4GB of memory
