Yes, that is correct for the version pinning.
Also, an admin needs to be able to choose one of the update channels, as specified in the app's update manifest (https://chromeos.dev/en/web/isolated-web-apps#web-application-update-manifest).
In addition, our IWA beta users noted that an option to add IWA app is currently available only for "Users & Browsers", and not available for "Kiosks" and "Managed Guest sessions".
Is it going to be added to "Kiosks" and "Managed Guest sessions"?

Version pinning mirroring the Chrome App policy is not yet released for IWAs.
Just to confirm what you're requesting, you'd like to see the same type of 'version pinning' policy as what is offered for Chrome Apps where you can select from the different versions you host, correct?
