BlinkOn 9

Hello, embedders!

For those of you who will be attending BlinkOn 9, it's back in California. It's being held at the Google Event Center ("US-SVL-MP7") whose layout is optimized for events. I asked and there aren't any spare rooms for us to meet up in. However, there is a big open area upstairs where we can meet and chat at a time that works for people.

If there is any specific topic that you have questions about, I can try to see if I can find people who know what's going on with it. Otherwise, Nasko will be there to answer questions about Site Isolation and PlzNavigate, and I'll be there to answer any Mac platform questions. Or we can just get together and chat. That works too :)

Last time, the alignment of the Electron conference to BlinkOn was a special case. We're back to the normal reality of BlinkOn being a closed conference for those who've registered. If you don't have a confirmation for BlinkOn, I can't let you in; this isn't an invitation to attend it.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in a few weeks!

The BlinkOn schedule is filled in. I was thinking about perhaps on Thursday in the "Breakout Talks #5" time slot, but I'm open to any suggestions. Anyone up for a meeting? Does anyone have any requests for topics?

I'd love to meet! One thing I've been thinking about recently is how to upstream more of the changes that electron makes to the chromium code, so I'd love to chat about that.

For attendees of BlinkOn:

Thursday (the second day) at 12:30pm there is "Breakout Talks #4", then lunch, then "Breakout Talks #5". Upstairs there is an area with hanging sphere lamps. Let's meet up at 12:30 beneath the sphere lamps, and take over a room. In the half hour of the talks we can find out our major issues, talk about them over lunch in a much more informal way, and then after lunch (if needed) rejoin and come to conclusions.
