Generating ssh keys from ChromeOS

Hi,

I am wondering if there's a way to generate new SSH keys directly on ChromeOS. I came across this:

but don't know enough about crypto to fully understand the security implications (if any).

Are there any plans to include key generation (similar to ssh-keygen) in this project?

at some point, yes, we'd like to include better ssh key management including generation
