Hey folks,

Stack Overflow (stackoverflow.com) is now an official support channel for chrome extension developers. Some of Stack Overflow's benefits include a large and active user base, the promotion of answers in search results, and structured markup for easily writing code snippets. 

Already we've been monitoring the [google-chrome-extension] tag in Stack Overflow for your technical extension related questions. We want you to ask questions and get answers! :)

Here's a Chrome extension that allows you to pick the Stack Overflow tags that you want to monitor, notifies whenever there's a new question on those tags, and allows you to browse pending questions without leaving your current tab: http://goo.gl/QSxMC

This group (chromium-...@chromium.org) will remain open for business as usual, but in the future we plan to transition it to become an announcement channel for Chromium extension-related news.

You may be aware that Stack Overflow is a place for strictly developer discussion. If you have a non-technical question regarding publishing your extension on the Chrome Web Store, please ask it here or on the chromi...@chromium.org group.

Actually, even discussions of a technical nature should be avoided. Stack Overflow is for specific technical questions about a real, actual problem you're facing.  For discussions, the Q&A model tends to flounder a bit since it's difficult to vote "discussions" to the top as the best answer.

I am making a google chrome extension which would save particular tab history i.e. it will show mapping of links via which i came to that particular link. How to proceed to it? Its a part of my academic assignment. Urgent help required

My html5 embed game keeps getting rejected , does this meen that It's not quality standards?

I have planed to create the HTML editor chrome extension, I am use Iframe to display the result. If I load the pure HTML tag without inline function then It is work fine, otherwise it is shown some error  "Refused to execute inline script because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "script-src 'self' 'unsafe-eval'". Either the 'unsafe-inline' keyword, a hash ('sha256-...'), or a nonce ('nonce-...') is required to enable inline execution."
