Another lost featured badge on recent update - widespread?

Hi Oliver,

Is there a recent change that's leading to widespread featured badge removal?

It's just affected my extension too (jpkbdlhiihebdhobfmhagcjkdocnjdlo).

I'm the 3rd developer to report this. See also this thread (which I tried to add to and all my messages got deleted!): https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/g/chromium-extensions/c/oTaqE3xH5-Y.

My latest extension update was purely internal refactoring. The extension user experience, permissions and listing didn’t change. I’ve had a featured badge for 2 years. It magically appeared without me self nominating, which was fab. Now it’s magically disappeared I’ll lose the search ranking boost, which is disappointing :-/

Any feedback appreciated.

I've also lost a badge after updating one of my smaller extensions four days ago (Send Note to Device - ohcinjncimepibaooaagifjafbmnneoa).

Maybe we got infected by the 1th of April Axios malware and we bundled some malware into our extensions 🙃.

Just kidding, I hope :D.
