[crx]Custom payment documentation or example

Hi!

I'm looking for documentation or an example for using custom payment.

Here's my use case:

Users will buy the app license somewhere else (digistore24) and enter the license on first startup of the chrome extension.

Not even sure if 'Custom payment' is the right choice or if it should be free as the extension is technically free, but requires license input on initial start.

Reason is that the chrome webstore doesn't allow referral tracking or discounts.
